I forgot about the birds.....

I was just reading through my memories of my previous pets post and realized that I forgot about the birds.....how could I forget the birds?!?!?!?!

Cecil and Cecilia - When Alive and Kicking in the Crystal mall shut down I bought these two Zebra Finches. They were two girls, so they laid alot of eggs, but had no babies (thankfully!). They loved to sit in their little nest and fly back and forth in their long cage chirping away. During the Christmas season one year I got really sick, I think I had the flu. I was so delirious that I basically stayed in bed for three days. That also meant that I forgot to feed my little Cecil and Cecilia for three days! On Christmas morning I was feeling better and remembered my birdies, but it was too late. They were at the bottom of the cage with their little zebra finch feet in the air.

Billy - This is my cockatiel that I got from our petstore, New Hope Pet & Supply. I love this bird, but everyone around me hates this bird, and hates him with a passion. When I lived with Dawn she hated his screeching and would always pound on his cage. And now Jason also gets annoyed, mad, and angry when he squawks and whistles. However, I love Bill and his whistling. He used to be able to whistle the Andy Griffith tune, but now he gets it all jumbled up and backwards (he's getting old). He also likes to put his foot up to his mouth like it is a microphone and whistles into it. He likes to use the top of his cage as a gymnastics floor mat and run and jump across it. He also likes when I open my mouth and let him play dentist with my teeth.
